Possible Ideas for a new tiddlywiki.org Logo

We're collecting ideas for a potential replacement logo for tiddlywiki.org. The goal is that the logo evokes a couple of important ideas:

• Building on TiddlyWiki (despite the fact that TiddlyWiki intentionally doesn't have a logo of it's own)
• People communicating and working together using TiddlyWiki

Add you ideas or variations to the top of this page as we try to find a good solution.

Please try to visualize how the logo would fit on the homepage of TiddlyWiki.org and with the color scheme as well.

Feel free to discuss ideas on the group as well.

Circle in black/white- by Clint Checketts The contrast is better here. The final logo definitely can't be in black/white since it feels too Wordpress-y. The arrow points are better and overlap the underlying circle much better and dramatically, however the 'physics of the arrows' is wrong and needs some tweaking.

This was Simon's idea.. nice use of arrows i thought.

I was thinking that another way to say "community" (other than a globe with arrows) was to show some buildings, like a city or town. So I tried a blocky rectangular thing. This idea might actually work someday, but it needs much more time spent on it :)

Another idea from Simon. There's a nice circle thing happening here, coming from the left side of the T crosspiece and the first curve of the W. That's what inspired the first logo i posted, the one that looks like a BMW badge.

Another go at the quadrant idea but with the letters next to each other. less abstract than the BMW logo one.

The concept behind the design is simple: At first glance or at very small size, it shows three people around a table; suggesting co-operation, joint work, a meeting, the sharing of information. The three people shape up a letter 'W', suggesting the concept of Wiki, of collaborative online platform. Finally, the table should be interpreted as a letter 'T', bringing in the 'Tiddly' concept, and associating it with transparency.
